Well, got my Reid Sleeves last night and wore them all night.  They were very comfortable.  My legs were swollen quite huge and they managed to get them down about half way to normal in a 12 hour period.  So far so good, I'm really looking forward to seeing how they do with a full 24 hr use.

Okay, have had my Reid Sleeves for two weeks now.  I am now very pleased with them.  It took a while, at first I was concerned they weren't going to do as well as the bandaging/wrapping; but, once I started doing what makes sense (to me) they are working fine.

My problem was I had gone 1.5 weeks without any compression of any type before my Reid Sleeves were delivered.  So, I had to really work with the gauge provided with the Reid Sleeves and pay attention to when the legs would shrink away from the sleeves and regauge.  Once I figured that out, and that there would be voids while the leg was shrinking and dealt with that, I got my legs down to their normal size Smiley

Saw my therapist for the last time yesterday, he verified I know what I am doing with the sleeves and that I could just maintain now; did one less massage and measure session, and then we were done.  I've officially been released from the care of my Physical Therapist.  Kind of bittersweet; glad to be done with it, but gonna miss him as well.

So, yay!  I get to start on my self managing program now, I'm excited Smiley
